Drill chuck
When installing a drill bit, insert
it
in the
chuck hole as far as it will go. Then use the
chuck key to fasten
it
in place, tightening
evenly and
in
order
a t
each of the three
key holes.
Adjustable depth rod
The adjustable depth rod is used to drill
holes of uniform depth. Loosen the thumb
bolt,
set
to desired position, then tighten
the thumb bolt.

Speed screw
is
for continuous use

sired speed.
The speed screw
on
the trigger can be used
together with the lock button to obtain
convenient continuous operation
a t
any
speed setting from 0
-
2,300 RPM (when
setting change lever on high (HI)) and
0
-
900 RPM (when setting change lever
on
low (LO)). This screw is first screwed in
(for higher speeds) or out (for lower speeds)
for the desired setting. Then the trigger
i s
pulled as far
as
it
will go, and in this posi-
tion the lock button i s pushed in. The

Lock button-
trigger can now be released, and the tool will run continuously

the speed it is set for.
To stop from this lock position, simply pull the trigger and then release it.
