4.4 VCO Adjustment and Confirmation

Adjust and check PLL Lock voltage.

- Adjustment -
(a) Set channel to CH16 with UP/DOWN key. Turn off SQL.
(b) In RX status, adjust LV03 to set voltage at VCO test point
(marked "LOCK TP") to 2.0V ± 0.05V DC.
- Confirmation -
(a) Set channel to EXP04 with UP/DOWN key. Confirm volt-
age at the test point is over 0.7V while it transmits and
receives.
(b) Set channel to EXP05 with UP/DOWN key. Confirm volt-
age at the test point is below 7.3V while it transmits and
receives.

4.5 T ransmission Power Adjustment and Confirmation

Adjust transmission power in High and Low mode. And
check RF carrier power in the bandwidth.
- Adjustment -
(a) For High Power, press PTT in CH16 and adjust RT51 to
set RF power to 25.0W.
(b) For Low Power, set GX1250SA at Low Power with H/L
key in CH16, press PTT and adjust RT51 to set RF power
to 0.8W.
- Confirmation -
(a) Set channel to USA01, press PTT and check transmis-
sion power at High Power mode. Then set channel to
EXP02 and check in the same way.
Also check transmission power at Low Power mode with
H/L key.
HIGH POWER = 23W to 27W
LOW POWER = 0.5W to 1.2W
(b) Set channel to EXP05 and check transmission power like-
wise.
HIGH POWER = 17W to 30W
LOW POWER = 0.2W to 2.0W
