ROM-Based Setup Utility (RBSU)

Navigating the ROM-Based Setup Utility

The RBSU performs a wide range of configuration activities, including:

Viewing system information
I
Selecting the operating system
I
Configuring system devices and installed options
I
Selecting the primary boot controller
I
Managing storage options
In addition, the RBSU includes other features which are outlined in "Using the
ROM-Based Setup Utility" later in this chapter.
To make selections within the RBSU, use the following keys:

To access the RBSU, press F9 during power up when prompted in the
lower right corner of the screen.
I
Use the Arrow keys to navigate through the menu system.
I
Make selections by pressing Enter.
I
Cancel selections by pressing Escape.
I
Save selections and changes by pressing F10.
