Note to CATV system installer: This reminder is provided to call the CA TV system installer's attention to Article 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelines for prop! grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to t point of cable entry as practieal.

IDENTIFICATION FRONT PANEL 00 Cassette Compartment ~ Power key When power is supplied to the set, the power indicator lamp will always light up in red. The Power ON and Power OFF mode will be toggled by pressing this key. When the POWER is switched on, the power lamp will light up in red and the other keys will light up in green.
TO GET STARTED VCP TO VEHICL~ CONNECTION .You can apply this method to DC 12V output only. .Please connect to the vehicle only after making sure of the polarity of the cigarette lighter socket. (negative earth) 12 VOLT POWER NOTES .This VCP operates on 12V DC only.
BASIC OPERATION CASSrnE LOADING/UNLOADING O Push the cassette into the cassette compartment gently. (Arrow mark at the top) .An inverted cassette cannot be inserted. f) The cassette-in .Upon inserting the cassette, the power turns on even if the power was off as long as the DC power cord is plugged in. BASIC OPERATION (continued) ERASURE PROTECTION Video cassettes are equipped with a safety tab to prevent accidental erasure.

SPECIAL OPERATION SPECIAL OPERATION (continued) TO VISUALLY SEARCH Press the REW key once in the PLAYBACK the tape will rewind rapidly with the pictures. TO SELECT Hi-Fi AUDIO OUTPUT During the Hi-Fi program playback, Hi-Fi lamp lights up in green. Press the PLAY key during playback, then VCP enters autotracking mode.
