Rear brake disc
Disc Inspection
The brake disc must be perfectly clean, without rust, oil, grease or scales and shall not show deep
scratches. If the disk has one of these anomalies, perform a thorough cleaning, if the defect still remains,
the disc must be replaced.
Rear disc thickness: 5.1 mm (0.2 in). Rear disc thickness at the wear limit: 4.9 mm (0.19 in).
If the disc is not within the above shown measurements it must be replaced.
Front brake disc
Disc Inspection
The brake discs must be perfectly clean, without rust, oil, grease or scales and shall not show deep
scratches. If the disks have one of these anomalies, perform a thorough cleaning, if the defect still
remains, the discs must be replaced.
Front disc thickness: 4.1 mm (0.16 in). Front disc thickness at the wear limit: 3.9 mm (0.15 in).
If the discs are not within the above shown measurements, they must be replaced. The front discs are
composed of a part integral with the wheel rim and a floating brake clamp. If the disc must be replaced,
it is necessary to replace both components.

Turn the pins and remove both cotter
pins.
