11/2010 To change the seat cover, remove the screw at the front end of the seat frame. Then pull the locking pin out. Now the seat can be removed by pulling it gently forwards. Do the reverse when you want to replace the seat. Check that all screws are fixed securely. - Page 7 11/2010 A. 11/2010 STEERING WHEEL ADAPTER The height of the seat can be adjusted in the front axle area. The inclination of the seat can also be adjusted when setting only the steering wheel adapter. oder Adjustment of the height and angle of the seat The steering wheel adapter (2) is situated at the bottom end of the front frame (1). -

11/2010 The driving wheels are mounted in an axle adapter (1) at the bottom of the back frame (2). Loosen the fixing screws (3). Push the axle adapter (1) upwards or downwards to the desired height and then secure it with the fixing screws (3). Make sure that all screws are properly tightened with an appropriate tool before using the wheelchair. -

11/2010 • Make sure that the footplates are at least 2.36 in. above the ground to avoid contact with the ground when driving; such contacts may cause damage and endanger the operational security of the wheelchair. In addition, the user could also be injured. ARMRESTS In the standard model the armrests can be folded down to the rear or be removed. -

11/2010 • Note that the parking brakes are not supposed to be used for braking while driving. Their real function is to prevent the wheelchair from rolling away when it is parked. If the parking brakes are activated while travelling, it might cause injury and/or damage. If you are not satisfied with the braking behaviour of your wheelchair, consult your specialist dealer immediately;... -

11/2010 • When being transported, you should be protected by suitable safety belt systems (information obtainable from your specialist dealer). • When being transported, sit quietly in your wheelchair and avoid jerky movements. • If you cannot sit quietly when being transported because of illness or disability (e.g. slightly spastic, etc.), then at least two persons are required to secure the wheelchair on both sides by taking hold of fixed parts of the frame. -

11/2010 USING THE WHEELCHAIR The driving wheels are fitted with tyre grips to enable you to use your wheelchair. If you are propelling yourself, please observe the following guidelines: • When passing through restricted passages, e.g. doorways and other types of bottlenecks, take care that you do not harm your hands. - Page 14 11/2010 • If your illness/disability means that you are unable to move in and out of the wheelchair on your own, always get help from someone who is familiar with the procedure. • Getting into and out of the wheelchair is done at your own risk. The manufacturer admits no liability claims.

11/2010 • Provide sufficient covering or packaging to protect the wheelchair from rust and foreign bodies (e.g. salt water, sea air, sand, dust). • Store all removed parts together in one place (or mark them if necessary) to avoid mixing up with other products when re-assembling. -

Read their specific product information and only use a soft brush or soft sponge. 3) SURFACE LAYERS The high quality of the surface layer guarantees optimal protection against corrosion. If the outer coat is damaged by scratching or in some other way, get your specialist dealer to repair the affected surface. -
