Commercial in confidence 84-103M 1. INTRODUCTION The R1 radio is designed specifically to exceed the IMO requirements for GMDSS survival craft radios. The radio is totally waterproof and sufficiently robust to survive marine environments, and is designed to be a 'fit and forget' equipment. -
