  • Page 9 Chapter 1: The CMP4030 Features of the CMP4030 The CMP4030 Local Control System (LCS) is used to control the plant growth chamber. The ‘brain’ of the LCS is the Version 6.0 software. The Touch Screen The system uses a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panel with an integrated touch screen as the user interface.

If memory is lost, the controller will not function and cannot be repaired. An external battery provides backup when the regular power supply is unavailable.
