The MODEL CHECKING MODE leads to the fol-
lowing test modes:
• ACCURACY CHECKING MODE
• CONFIGURING HOME CITY MODE
• TIME CALIBRATION SIGNAL TEST MODE
• SOLAR CELL-PCB ASS'Y CONTACT CHECK-
ING MODE
• AGING MODE
• CHECKING THE HAND OPERATION MODE
1) While on the Timekeeping mode, hold down
CHECKING MODE. The second hand indicates the 5-second position.
2) Press
and then check the position of the second hand to identify the model (SPEC1).

and then check the position of the second hand to identify the model (SPEC2).

4) Exit the MODEL CHECKING MODE.
• While "5 seconds" is indicated, press
• While "5 seconds" or "SPEC" is indicated, you may return to the Timekeeping mode by pressing
or by pulling out the crown and then pressing it back in.

8-3. ACCURACY CHECKING

1) While on the Timekeeping mode, hold down
2) Press
, and then press
3) The second hand begins operation and the ACCURACY CHECKING MODE starts.
Measure the accuracy value in the following conditions.
SENSOR
Pulse motor
Note: Measure the accuracy value twice consecutively with the gate time of 16 seconds.
The second value is accurate.
4) Exit the ACCURACY CHECKING MODE.
Return to the Timekeeping mode by pressing any button or by pulling out the crown and then
pressing it back in.
