Press 34 to highlight 'Parental'.

Enter its submenu by pressing 2.

Use 34 to highlight a rating level for the
disc inserted.
DVDs that are rated above the level
you selected will not play unless you
enter your six-digit password and choose
a higher level rating.
To disable Parental controls and have
all Discs play, choose '8 ADULT'.

Press OK, then press 1 to return to
Preference Setup Page.
Helpful Hint:
– Some DVDs are not encoded with a rating
though the movie rating may be printed on
the Disc cover. The rating level feature does
not work for such Discs.

Default Setup

Setting the DEFAULT function will reset
all options and your personal settings to
the factory defaults except for your
Parental Control password.

Press 34 to highlight 'Default'.

Highlight RESET by pressing 2.

Press OK, then press 1 to return to
Preference Setup Page.

MP3/JPEG Navigator

This feature allows you to select alternate
settings when you playback picture CD
and MP3 CD.

Press 34 to highlight 'MP3/JPEG Nav'.

Enter its submenu by pressing 2.

Move the cursor by pressing 34 to
highlight the selected item.
Without Menu: playback all pictures
or MP3 music in sequence automatically.
With Menu: playback pictures or
MP3 music in the selected folder.

Press OK, then press 1 to return to
Preference Setup Page.
Playback Control (PBC)
This feature can be set to ON or OFF
only when VCDs (version 2.0 only) with
Playback control feature (see page 24
"Special VCD & SVCD Features").
