Operating with Limited Power
It is normal that the inverter operates with limited power and the operating mode may be
caused by either of the following conditions.

Issue Draft A (2016-05-30)
Description
In standby or operating mode, the SUN2000 enters the shutdown mode
after detecting a fault or shutdown command.
In shutdown mode, the SUN2000 enters the standby mode after detecting
a startup command or that a fault is rectified.
If the sunlight is good and the PV array output power exceeds the maximum inverter
output power, the inverter does not trace the maximum power point of the PV array.
Instead, the inverter limits the PV array output power close to the maximum inverter
output power to reduce the peak PV array output power.
The inverter accepts the power scheduling from the power grid and limits the output
power to the range specified by the power grid. Power grid scheduling includes active
power derating and reactive power compensation. Active power derating means that the
power grid limits the maximum inverter output power. Reactive power compensation
refers to that the power grid instructs the inverter to generate certain capacitive or
sensitive reactive power to compensate the fixed reactive power value in the circuit. Note
that when the inverter delivers reactive power, the maximum apparent output power is
retained but the maximum active output power is affected.
