The standards are measured in the order: Thru,
Note:
Reflect, Line, Isolation in order to connect the load
standards just once.
Press:
CAL
CAL 1
TRL 2-PORT
Connect the TRL male adapter (Port 1) to the TRL female

adapter (Port 2).
Press THRU. The HP 8510 makes six measurements; they
l
are S,,, S,,, S,,, S,,, and two specially redefined user
parameters.
Connect the Short circuit to Port 1.

Connect the Short circuit to Port 2.
l
Press S,, REFLECT SHORT. S,, is measured.
l
Press LINES.
