Operating
Please note that the stronger the signal is the more useful is the detected object.
If the signal is very short by moving above the object, the object is already
corroded. Test the difference between a strongly corroded object and a
homogeneous object.
If the ground is contaminated with waste the signal can be undefined, discontin-
ued or shortly appearing.
Switch off your mobile telephone when using the detector. This device and
electrical fields or cables may cause interferences.
If you have found the object, lift the coil until the tone becomes silent and repeat
the measurement by repeatedly moving above the place of finding. Only by
repeatedly measuring the object the character of the metal can be clearly
identified.

Fine-Tuning

After knowing the basics make a fine-tuning for enhancing the sensitivity and the
safety against outer interferences.
Adjusting the sensitivity
For adjusting the device in order to find
objects in different depths of the ground you
can control the sensitivity by turning the
SENSITIVITY knob.
Turn the knob to MAX until you hear a
creaky noise. Turn the knob back until the
tone becomes silent. You will only hear the
tone again if the object is found.
