8. Align the mounting screws with the guide slots and slide the drive into the drive bay until the drive snaps
in place.
9. Connect the data cable (1) and power cable (2) to the rear of the hard drive.
10. If installing a new drive, connect the opposite end of the data cable to the appropriate system board
connector.
NOTE:
avoid any hard drive performance problems. If you are adding a second hard drive, connect the data
cable to one of the light blue SATA connector labeled SATA1 and SATA2.
11. Replace the computer access panel.
12. Reconnect the power cord and any external devices, and then turn on the computer.
13. Lock any security devices that were disengaged when the access panel was removed.
