Grasp the viewfinder firmly and remove the 7 screws
from the mounting wedge.

with the screws, as shown in the figure below.

Note
Before operating the PEAKING/BRIGHT/CONTRAST
controls, make sure that "PRESET" in the menu is set to
"OFF." The controls do not operate when "PRESET" is
set to "ON."
For details on the menu operation, see "Using the Menu"
on page 28.

Turn the PEAKING control to adjust the peaking.
To make edges in the image sharper: Turn the
control clockwise.

Turn the BRIGHT control to adjust the brightness of
the screen.
To make the picture brighter: Turn the control
clockwise.

Turn the CONTRAST control to adjust the screen
contrast.
To increase the contrast: Turn the control
clockwise.
To prevent accidental operation of the controls
To prevent accidental operation of the PEAKING/
BRIGHT/CONTRAST controls, lock them by pressing the
MENU switch for 3 seconds or more so that "VR LOCK"
appears in the viewfinder.
To unlock the controls, press the MENU switch for 3
seconds or more so that "VR UNLOCK" appears.
The lock releases whenever the power is turned on.
