Smart select

Select an area to capture it as an image or a GIF animation. You can also pin an image so that
it is always displayed at the top of the list.
Capturing an image

Drag the Edge panel handle towards the centre of the screen.

Swipe to the left or right to open the Smart select panel.

Select a desired shape icon on the panel.

Drag the frame on the content you want to select.
To resize the frame, drag a corner of the frame.

Tap Done.
If text is included in the selected area, tap Extract text to recognise and extract text from
the selected area.

Select an option to use with the selected area.
• D raw: Write or draw on the selected area.
• S hare: Share the selected area with others.
• S et as: Set the selected area to be displayed when the screen is off.
• S ave: Save the selected area in Gallery.
Capturing an area from a video
While playing a video, select an area and capture it as a GIF animation.

When there is content you want to capture during video playback, drag the Edge panel
handle towards the centre of the screen.
