Adjustment of Timing Belt Tension
(1)
Remove the upper case unit according to the procedures described in chapter 4.
Loosen screw [1].

Move the carriage [2] once from left to right, then return it to the left.

Set the tension gauge [3] to the position indicated in Fig. 3-5 below.

Using a regular screwdriver, move tension lever [4] to the right until it matches the minimum tension setting
(23.0 if LC-4511; 28.0 if LC-4521).
Tighten screw [1].

Confirm that the setting is correct.
Remove tension gauge [3]. Move the carriage [2] all the way to the right and then back to the left, and check the

setting once again.
