WIRELESS 2.4G

On this page you can configure the settings for all the Wi-Fi
2.4GHz networks of your modem.
• To enable or disable all the Wi-Fi 2.4GHz networks of your
modem, select Enabled or Disabled (at the bottom of the
window) in the Interface field. Click Apply.
• To select the best Wi-Fi
channel, click Detect Wireless Access
Points (at the bottom of the window). In the Channel column,
specify the least used value.
- If this value does not correspond with the value in the
Current channel field, select this value in the Channel field
and click Apply.
- However, if this value is the same as the value in the
Current channel field, specify the second least used value
in the Channel column.
Select this value in the Channel field and click Apply.
For example, if the table in the screen shot opposite, the least
used value is '3' . And the selected current channel is '6' .
In this case, you need to select the value '3' in the Channel
field and click Apply.
> The changes apply to all the Wi-Fi 2.4GHz networks
of your modem: the Main Network and the
Guest Network.
> Disabling mode 802.11n may affect the performance
of your Wi-Fi.

MAIN NETWORK

On this page you can change the configuration of the main
Wi-Fi 2.4GHz network (name of the network, security key, etc.).
• To modify the name of your main Wi-Fi
Network Name (SSID) field and click Apply at the bottom of
the window.
• To modify the Wi-Fi security key (WPA) of the main
enter the new security key in the WPA Pre-shared Key field.
The security key must be a chain of 8 to 63 ASCII characters
(basically digits and lowercase and uppercase letters
without accents).
• To enable or disable the main
Disabled in the Main Network field. Click Apply at the bottom
of the page.
• To hide your Wi-Fi network while leaving it
Hide in the SSID Broadcast field.
• To prevent devices connected to your Wi-Fi network from
communicating, select Enable in the AP isolation field.
• To view the PIN code which is sometimes required when
pairing with Easy Wi-Fi
(WPS), go to the PIN field in WPS
Access Point Configuration.
If you change the network name or the network security
key, you will be disconnected from your Wi-Fi network.
