2.3 Port Please refer to Figure 2-3 for external ports. Cable control port:Here you can input cable control to provide audio and video signal, the key control signal input and status indication light. SD card port:Input ordinary SD card. Please pay attention to SD card installation direction. It supports SD1.0, SD1.1 and SD 2.0 standard.

You can use the dry cloth with some alcohol or mild detergent to clear if necessary.
3 PVR Interface and Operation 3.1 Boot up and Shutdown There are two ways for you to boot up the device. Press the Power button of the device for over two seconds, PVR system boots up. System goes to real-time monitor status by default. Press the Record button of the cable control for over two seconds, PVR system boots up.
Figure 3-1 3.4 System Monitor and Management Interface After the system booted up, press the Power button of the device for a long time, you can go to the monitor interface. See Figure 3-2. This icon becomes highlighted when the cable control is available. Battery capacity When the battery left power capacity is less than 10 minutes, the buzzer begins beeping regularly to alert you to recharge. Interface operation prompt information. Camera zoom control You can use the up/down button to adjust the zoom when you want to record or snapshot.
Figure 3-4 3.5 Record Operation There are two ways for you to go to the record interface. You can click the Record button of the cable control when the device is off. After system boots up, please click Record button of the cable control or the Record button at the front panel to begin recording.
System default recording package time is 60 minutes. When the file is about to full (about five- minutes recording time left), you can hear buzzer beeps to alert you to replace a SD card. All recorded files are automatically created and are storage under RECORD folder. File name format is: Year_Month_Date_Hour_Minute_Second.mp4.

Detailed Operation Please use Up/Down to select playback file and then click OK button to view. System automatically plays the next file after completing current one. After it played all files in RECORD folder, system goes back to playback list interface (Figure 3-7). In playback list interface, select one file and then click right button for a long time, you can go to remove file dialogue box.

When the playback control bar is hidden, you can click Left or Right button once to play. Fast forward Please use Left and Right button to select and then click /fast backward OK button to confirm. Now you can realize fast forward or backward function.
Figure 3-11 3.6.2 Snapshot In the main menu, select Snapshot item and then click OK button. You can see the image file list. See Figure 3-12. Figure 3-12 Basic Information In playback file list interface you can view all recorded images in SD card PICTURE folder. They are arranged in accordance with time.

3.6.3.3 System Information and Firmware Upgrade System Information In Figure 3-14, please use Left and Right button to highlight System item and then click OK button to go to system setup interface. See Figure 3-17. Here you can view hardware version, software version and SD card capacity. In this interface, you can also upgrade system.

Important! Please note you can see the corresponding prompting dialogue box if you want to set the video resolution, video frame rate, video bit rate, audio bit rate when the device is recording! If system is recording right now, your setup here can not be valid immediately. You need to stop the record first and then enable record again to activate current setup.

When the resolution is 640*480/704*576, the frame rate can be: VBR/5/6/8/10/12/15/18/20/22/25/30. When the resolution is 1024*768, the frame rate can be: VBR/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14. The bit rate may vary due to different video resolution and frame rate setup. Bit rate There are two options: on/off. Auto focus When this function is on, the device can automatically adjust the lens focus.

Click the Restore button, Restore you can see the system pops up a dialogue box asking you to restore factory default setup or not. Click OK button, system will begin restoring. Please note if the device is recording, system can not restore the factory default setup.

It is to display the current network connection status: Connection 1)SSID:It is the SSID of the router you are going to connect to. 2)State:Here you can see current network status. It includes two statuses: connected or disconnected. 3)Online time:It is to display the connection time. You can set the network parameter if necessary.
