Problem
1. The cordless hammer
drill cannot be started.
2. The rechargeable
battery does not
charge.
Possible cause
The rechargeable
battery does not
have enough power.
The rechargeable
battery has not been
inserted properly.
Right-handed/left-
handed-rotation
selector (5) is in the
middle position.
The rechargeable
battery has not been
inserted properly.
The mains plug has
not been inserted
properly.
The socket has no
power.
The rechargeable
battery or the charger
is defective.
Troubleshooting
Solution
Recharge the
rechargeable battery (8)
(see chapter "Charging
the rechargeable
battery").
Push the rechargeable
battery all the way into
the rechargeable
battery holder until the
rechargeable battery
locks into place.
Push the right-handed
or left-handed rotation
selector all the way in.
Push the connector of
the charging cable into
the charging socket of
the rechargeable battery
and wiggle it abit.
Check to make sure that
the mains plug is
properly seated.
Check the socket by
connecting another
device.
