Chapter 5: Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Installing A Battery

1. The meter won't delete earlier records after you replace batteries.
2. You should reset the time and date again after you replace a battery.
3. CR2032 lithium batteries are available in shops. You may take the old batteries
with you for replacement.
4. Remove batteries when you will not be using the meter for one month or more.
The meter uses one CR2032 lithium battery. One battery will normally
last for over 1000 tests. Other types of CR2032 lithium batteries are
also acceptable, yet the capacity of test times may differ. Install the
battery when you first use the meter or replace with a new battery
when the "LP" message and the low battery symbol appear on the
display.
