CLOCK SPRING
INSPECTION
lf, as
result of following checks, even one abnormal point
is
discovered, replace the clock spring with a new one.
1.
Check connectors and protective tube
for damage,
and
terminals for deformation.
2.
Visually check the case for damage
3.
Check that
there is continuity
between
the clock
spring
connectors No.1, No.2, No.3 and No.4.

When joining SRS Check harness connector No.2 and
clock spring connector No.6 align paint of the No.2 with
the arrow portion of the No.6.
Check for continuity between terminal
25
and terminal 26
of SRS Check hamess connector No.3.
