Troubleshooting Minor Problems

Before calling your service shop or dealer, try the solutions in the
following table:
Problem
Refrigerator
does not go on.
Weird noise.
Insufficient
refrigeration.
caused by ice displacement. It is the noise you hear when ice
trays are removed from the freezer and exposed to room
temperature.
This noise is characteristic of the product. When the relay is
started, it makes a click indicating that the compressor
turned on.
This noise is characteristic of the motor.
It means that the compressor is operating.
This noise is characteristic of water flowing.
It happens when the product is defrosting.
Probable cause
No electricity supplied.
Voltage excessively high/low
(check oscillation of lamps).
Defective wall outlet socket.
Product unplugged.
Power supply cord damaged.
Product installed in
inadequate place.
Inadequate leveling.
Air circulation is being
impaired.
Solution
Check the fuse or circuit breaker.
Also check whether product is
plugged in.
Install an automatic voltage
stabilizer (min 1000 Watts).
Check the socket by plugging
in another appliance.
Replace it if necessary.
Plug it in.
Call the assistance shop or
your dealer.
