If the USB hardware key is lost, only standard base examinations will be possible. To communicate with the Villa Rotograph EVO D, follow these steps:
1. Verify the presence of the key and ensure it is properly inserted. 2. If the key is faulty, it must be replaced. 3. Record the equipment's serial number (S/N) and/or the Unique Identification Code (U.I.C.). 4. Report these details to Villa Sistemi Medicali to request a new hardware key. 5. After obtaining a new key, all optional features must be re-enabled using the proper codes.
If the USB key is required for software communication, reinstall the USB dongle driver and configure the software settings:
1. Open the Dental Studio program and select a test patient. 2. Click "Options," then "Panoramic." 3. Set the following values: - Model: Rotograph Evo – TS - TCP IP Address: 192.168.005.45 - TCP IP Port: 8000 4. Click "OK" to save the settings.
This configuration allows communication with the control touch screen.

In some versions, certain examination modes are not available but the device (thanks to its computerised control system) can be expanded and updated with new releases, directly at the Dentist premises.
