Hold the disc with fingers, using one of the two methods shown below, do not touch the disc surface. Do not bend or press the disc, Never place the disc on other equipment or near any heat source. CONNECTING TO 5.1 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER (without DOLBY DIGITAL decoder) This player is equipped with built-in DOBLY DIGITAL decoder and 6 analog audio outputs Connect the player to the TV using the supplied SCART cable as shown below. Connect each of the 6 output sockets to the relevant inputs on the amplifier (cables not supplied) (An amplifier with 6 channels input and output is required, AC3 decoder is NOT required). -

INSTALATION OF BATTERIES Remove the battery compartment cover of the remote control. Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the batteries have been inserted observing the correct polarity When replacing batteries, replace both batteries. Do not mix new and used batteries together If you are not going to use the DVD Player for a long time remove the batteries from the remote control to prevent against damage due to leaking batteries... -

Getting Started Read through this instruction manual. Unpack the unit. Load batteries into the remote control. Connect the unit to the TV (and amplifier if required) make sure the connections are correct following instructions on pages 6-9. Connect to the mains supply, turn on the power switch on the rear of the player. Check the settings of the player, TV and amplifier (if connected) are correct (check with relevant instruction manual). -

Setup Menu Press the SETUP button on remote control during STOP or PLAY mode to enter the SETUP MENU. The navigation keys are used to navigate the menus. Use the UP and DOWN keys to highlight the required menu item.
