This pad is used in conjunction with a repeater to
provide AUTDPATCH
capabilities.

SPjack
This jack is used to connect an external speaker or
earphone. The recommended impedance is 80.

MICjack
This
jack
is
used
for
connection
of
an
external
microphone. The use of an electret type microphone is
recommended.
Input impedance
is 2kO
and
the
DC
voltage on this terminal is Approx. 4 V (MAX 3.5
mAl·
Note
The use of a dynamic microphone is not recommend-
ed.

DC IN terminal
This terminal is used for an external power supply. Input
voltage is 13.8 VDC nominal. The center is the
+
side
and the sleeve is - side.
Note
You should turn the power switch OFF when connect-
ing a power source to this terminal. Pay close atten-
tion to the
polarity.
As a precaution, do not remove the battery pack
when
an
external power supply is
used.
Use
the
KENWOOD PG-2W or PG-3F optional cable for
the
connection
.
