Mount the body cap on the camera and the cap around
the lens.
• Mount the cap after removing the dust.
Notes on lens exchange
If the dust gets into the camera and stuck to the surface of
the image sensor (a part to convert the light to an electrical
signal) upon lens exchange, dust may appear in the image.
Mount/remove the lens at a dustless place in a quick
manner.

Mounting the tripod adapter

Use the mounting screw holes on the upper side/bottom
side of the camera/tripod adapter mounting holes (4 inside)
to mount the supplied tripod adapter.
To mount on the bottom side
Notes
• Use the supplied screws (M3×6) (recommended
tightening torque: 0.6 N·m)
• Do not install the camera on a place or equipment that
shudders.
• Install on an even flat place.
To mount on the upper side
Notes on installation
When the tripod screws are used
• Use screws which go over (4) the tripod adapter
mounting side by 4 to 5 mm.
• Make sure it doesn't go over more than 5.5 mm.
When the M3 screws (sold separately) are used
• Use screws which go over (4) the tripod adapter
mounting side by 4 to 5 mm.
• Make sure it doesn't go over more than 5.5 mm.
