    HIGH ALTITUDE • At high altitude, the standard carburetor air-fuel mixture will be excessively rich. Performance will decrease, and fuel consumption will increase. • High altitude performance can be improved by installing a smaller diameter main fuel jet in the carburetor.

    OPERATION 1. Adjust snow throwing chute (direction and distance) 2. Start the engine (let it warm up to operating temperature and adjust the machine to the outside temperature). Engage the first gear at released coupling lever – never change gear while running machine - even with the engine turned off.

    Fuel valve (fig. 15B) turn to OFF position. Remove the ignition key (fig. 15A) and store in a safe place. Wipe all snow and moisture form the area around the engine as well as the area in and around the drive control several times. In case of long operation break (after season) is recommended to mix additive to fuel as a prevention of fuel deterioration and problems with restarting in the beginning of next season.

    SNOW CHAINS (ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT) For extreme snow and weather conditions is possible to purchase snow chains under order No. 009129. If you do not know how to fit the chains, contact your dealer. MAINTENANCE Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and trouble-free operation. WARNING! Improper maintenance, or failure to correct a problem before operation, can cause malfunction in which you can be seriously hurt or killed.

    MACHINE CLEANING CAUTION: Do not hose engine. Water can damage engine or contaminate the fuel system. 1. After each operation clean the machine carefully. 2. Allow engine to cool at least a half hour before cleaning. 3. The machine should be parked at solid even surface. 4.

After adding a gasoline stabilizer, run the engine outdoors for 10 minutes to be sure that treated gasoline has replaced the untreated gasoline in the carburetor. OFF SEASON STORAGE If your engine will be stored with gasoline in the fuel tank and carburetor, gasoline will oxidize and deteriorate.
