Editing Movies

When editing movies, use a sufficiently charged battery to prevent the camera from
turning off during editing.

Extracting Only the Desired Portion of a Movie

The desired portion of a recorded movie can be saved as a separate file.

Play back a desired movie and pause at the start point of the
portion that you want to extract (A98).

Use the multi selector JK to select the
I control, and then press the
k button.

Use HI to select J (choose start
point).
Use JK or rotate the command dial to move the
start point.
To cancel editing, select O (back), and press the
k button.

Use HI to select K (choose end point).
Use JK or rotate the command dial to move the
end point.
To preview the specified portion, use HI to
select F and then press the k button. Press the
k button again to stop previewing.
