Attachment and Removal

Turn the fl ash off before mounting it on or removing it
from the hot shoe. If the fl ash is on, it may short the
hot shoe contacts, causing the fl ash to fi re unexpect-
edly or other product malfunction. Remove any wa-
ter from the mount and the hot shoe before attach-
ing the fl ash.

Attaching the Flash

Release the latch by sliding it as
shown.

Be sure to release the latch before at-
taching the fl ash. Failure to observe
this precaution could damage the hot
shoe.

Slide the mount all the way into
the camera hot shoe.

Latch the unit in place by sliding
the latch in the direction shown.
