2.4 Re: Hot steam and hot parts of the appliance
The appliance produces hot steam for clean-
ing with a temperature of approx. 110°C. Var-
ious hazards are associated with hot steam:
Always point the steam jet downwards to-
wards the surface to be cleaned. Even then,
take care that parts of your body never get in-
to the steam jet.
Never direct the steam jet at persons, an-
imals or plants. There is a danger of scalding.
Do not direct the steam jet at electrical ap-
pliances, plug sockets, cables, etc. There is a
risk of electric shock.
Never lay the appliance on its side during
operation.
2.5 Re: Appropriate Use
Only use the steam cleaner in the home to
clean regular dirt from smooth surfaces that
can withstand the high temperature, pressure
and moisture of hot steam.
Any other use is considered inappropriate
and is prohibited. It is especially forbid-
den:
To use the appliance near explosive or
easily flammable substances or on pressur-
ized containers. There is a risk of fire or explo-
sion or of the containers bursting.
To fill the water tank with liquids other than
cold co (e.g. cleaning agents, etc.). Additives
can be dangerous to your health or damage
the appliance.
Use when the water tank is empty or with-
out the tank cap.
To modify or repair the appliance on your
own.

ers that are filled with water, other liquids or
loose substances. Hot liquid or particles could
be ejected.
Never use the device without the tank cap
screwed on correctly.
Let the hot appliance and its accessories
cool off before touching them. Carry the appli-

Take care not to use the steam cleaner on
one spot for a longer period of time. Otherwise,
the surface to be cleaned might be damaged.
Provide adequate ventilation during and
after your cleaning work.
To use non-original accessories.
To clean:
- Persons, animals or plants, including

oiled or waxed wood or parquet flooring,
or surfaces made of soft or shiny plastic
material. These might be damaged.
- Textiles made from acrylic fibre, Dralon,
velvet or linen. These materials could be
