The power supply unit has a ground leakage current of 3.5mA. The design of the electrical distribution
system must take into consideration the total ground leakage current from all the power supplies in all the
units.
Equipment handling precau ons
Observe all conventional ESD precautions when handling the Seagate NAS Pro and its hard drives.
Hard drives are fragile and must be handled with care during removal/replacement.

Data security

Any loss, corruption, or destruction of data while using a Seagate hard drive or a Seagate hard drive system
is the sole responsibility of the user, and under no circumstances will Seagate be held liable for the recovery
or restoration of this data. To help prevent the loss of your data, Seagate highly recommends that you keep
TWO copies of your data: one copy on your NAS; and, a second copy on one of the following:
Direct-attached storage (DAS)
A second NAS
Cloud storage
Some form of removable storage or archival media
Important info: 1GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes. 1TB = 1,000,000,000,000 bytes. Once formatted, the
actual available storage capacity varies depending upon the operating environment (typically 10-
15% less).
