Configuring DCOM on COM600 computer

To be able receive incoming data callbacks from the OPC server to the COM600 com-

puter, you must enable remote access permissions for the COM600 user account.

To configure DCOM access permissions on COM600 computer:

1. Select Component Services > Computers > My Computer.

2. In the My Computer Properties dialog, select the COM Security tab.

3. Click Edit Limits in the Access Permissions section of the dialog, see Figure 3.6.4-

4. In the Access Permission dialog, allow Local Access and Remote Access for

COM600, see Figure 3.6.4-2.
