Remedy
Check batteries are installed .If not, install
batteries.
Check orientation of batteries.
Reinsert batteries according to the +-
symbols on the battery compartment.

Insert new or charged batteries or use the
AC adapter.
Press DISPLAY button to turn LCD
monitor on. (p.45)
LCD monitor is off when camera is
connected to a PC.
LCD monitor is off when camera is
connected to a TV.
Image on LCD monitor may be hard to see
when taking pictures outside in sunlight.
When flash status lamp blinks red, flash is
charging and no pictures can be taken.
Lamp lights red when charging is
completed.
Insert SD Memory Card with available
space or delete unwanted images.

Picture becomes dark if subject is too far
away. Take picture within range of flash.
When taking a picture of a person against
a dark background, such as a night scene,
the background may appear dark if the
flash does not reach it even with the
