Always switch on your device first before starting the PC for configu-

ration.

Start LANconfig. Unconfigured LANCOM devices will be found auto-
matically within the local network.
If LANconfig cannot find the device, check the network connection

and update the IP address of the configuration computer (e.g. via the
command line with ipconfig/renew, by reactivating the network con-
nection, or by restarting the computer). Then start the search in
LANconfig again.
It is possible, that LANconfig is not able to find the appropriate

devices in the LAN, if an „Internet connection Firewall" (Windows XP)
or any other „Personal Firewall" is activated on the configuration PC.
Deactivate, if necessary, the Firewall during the configuration, if the
unconfigured devices cannot be found.
