Getting started with your mobile services

Here's all you need to get started:
• Broadband Anywhere HTC S620 handset
• AC mains adaptor to charge the battery
• Standard or extended use
battery and battery cover
• Broadband Anywhere SIM card
• BT Yahoo! Mail address and password (you should
have already received this in a separate letter)
1 Insert SIM and charge
your handset
Insert SIM
Insert the SIM card into the slot at the top-
left corner with its gold plated contacts
facing down. Make sure the notch is facing
towards the bottom of the handset.
Push the SIM card all the way in until
the SIM card locks into place.

Insert the battery
Line up the battery contacts with the handset.
Push the battery down into place.
Connect the mains charger
Charge the standard battery for at least 8 hours or
charge the extended battery for at least 10 hours.
When fully charged, the battery icon shows
the LED indicator above the screen changes from
orange to green. Batteries cannot be overcharged.
Now remove the charger for the rest of this set-up.
IMPORTANT
Do not use the USB cable to connect
to your PC at this stage.
Use for recharging
the battery.
