ABSORBANCE The instrument measures the blank transmittance and the sample transmittance, subtracts them and calculates the sample absorbance ( m onochromatic mode).It is possible to repeat the measure with a different wavelength(Filter 2/ secondary filter) and consider the difference between the two measures. -
