  • Page 3 Under certain conditions, Hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot-water system that has not been used for two weeks or more. HYDROGEN GAS IS EXPLOSIVE.If the hot-water system has not been used for such a period, before using the dishwasher turn on all hot-wat er faucets and let the water f low f rom each for sever al mi nutes. This will release any accumulated hydrogen gas.

    To get the best performance from your dishwasher,read all operating instructions before using it for the first time. 1 Pre-rinse&delay 2h light: To com e on when 8 Delayed Start Button: Press this button to set the delayed Pre-rinse/delay 2 hours for washing. hours f or washing.

Fill the rinse aid dispenser D. Function of detergent The water softener must be set manually, using the water hardness dial .
  • Page 7 Always use salt intended for use with dishwasher. The salt container is located beneath the lowe r rack and should be filled as follows: Att ention! Only use salt specifically des igne d for use in dishwashe rs! All othe r types of salt not speci fically des igned for use in a dis hwas her, espe cially table salt, will da ma ge the wat er softener.
  • Page 8 If there is no rinse-aid w arning light in the control panel, you can judge the amount of rinse-aid by the color of the optical level indicator "D" l ocated next to the cap. When the rinse-aid container is full, the whole indicator will be dark .As the rinse-aid diminishes, the size of t he dark dot decreases.

  • Page 11: Attention Before Or After Loading The Dishwasher Racks

    For best perfor mance of the dishwasher, follow these loading guidelines. Features and appearance of racks and silverware baskets may vary from your model. Attention before or after Loading the Dishwasher Racks Scrape off any large amounts of leftover food. It is not necessary to rinse the dishes under running water .
  • Page 12 W e recommend that you place large items which are most diff icult to clean into the low er r ack: pots, pans, lids, ser ving dishes and bowls, as shown in the figure t o the right. It is prefer able to place serving dishes and lids on the side of the racks in order to avoi d blocking the rotation of t he top spray arm.

    Silverware Basket Silverware should be placed in the silverware basket with handles at the bot tom: If the rack has side baskets, the spoon should be loaded individually into the appropriate slots, especially long utensils should be placed in the horizontal position at the front of the upper rack.

    Turning on the Appliance Starting a wash cycle... Draw out the lower and upper basket, load the dishes and push them back. It is commended that loading the lower basket first, than the upper one (see the section entitled “Loading the Dishwasher”). Pour in the detergent (see the section entitled “Salt, Detergent and Rinse Aid”).

    Filter assembly For best performance and results, the filter assembly must be cleaned. The filter efficiently removes food particles from the wash water, allowing it to be reci rculated during the cycle. For this reason, it is a good idea to remove the larger food particles trapped in t he filter after each wash cycle by rinsing the semicir cular filter and cup under running water.

To prevent penet ration of water into the door lock and electrical components, do not use a spray cleaner of any kind. Also, never use abrasive cleaners or scouri ng pads on the outer surfaces because they will scratch the fini sh.

Check with a qualified electrician or service representative if you are in doubt whether the appliance is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance; If it is not fit for the outlet. Have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
