2.7 Filling with engine oil

WARNING! This product is not supplied with
oil. However, for manufacturing reasons it is
possible that a small quantity may be left in
the oil tank (see "Technical specifications")!
1. Unscrew and remove the oil tank cap.
2. Gradually add good-quality engine oil (SAE 10W-30,
ca. 0,6 l). Allow the oil to settle.
3. Check the oil level frequently while filling. Wipe the
oil dipstick clean; refit and tighten the filler cap and
then remove it again. The oil level must be within the
min / max markings. Add more oil if necessary. Do not
overfill (Fig. 15).

4. Wipe spilled oil with a soft cloth and reattach the oil
tank cap.

3. OPERATION

3.1 Start the unit

Do not start the machine until it has been completely
assembled. Before switching on the machine, always
checking the oil.

3.2 Check before use!

Danger of injury!
Do not operate the device unless you did not
find any faults. If a part has become defective,
make sure to replace it before you use the de-
vice again.
Check the safe condition of the device:

Check the machine for leaks.

Check the machine for visual defects.

Check that all parts of the machine have been se-
curely fitted.

Check that all safety machine are in proper condition.

Slide the throttle lever to and fro several times to en-
sure that it is moving smoothly and correctly.
