INSTALLATION AND PROGRAMMING MAN The Quantum QR5 has built-in 26 bit Wiegand card reader, however if you need to use different card reader, you may do so by disconnecting the existing card reader and replace with your own 26-bit wiegand card reader as shown on the diagram.
Speaker = 8.7 ohm Microphone = 1.542 kOhm RADIO RECEIVER The Quantum QR5 has built-in Radio Frequency (RF) Receiver. The transmitter is not included. POWER SWITCH The power switch must be in the OFF (left position) during the installation to avoid any damages to the board.
Wiring requirement: 16-18 gauge wire. Connect the earth ground wire into one of the door hinge stud. KEYPAD LAYOUT AND FUNCTIONALITY The Quantum QR5 has built-in lighted keypad but no alphabetical lettering. The tenant can press associated keypad key to release the door or gate. By default is number 9 key to release door 1 (relay 1) or 8 for door 2 (relay 2).
