Detection of the number of cells
Presetting:
automatically (for 2, 4 and 6 LiPo battery cells only)
Selection:
automatically, 2 cells, 3 cells, 4 cells, 5 cells, 6 cells
We recommend entering the number of cells manually. The different voltages of the individual
cells between 2.6V and 4.2V make it difficult to correctly recognise the number of cells of a
partially discharged battery. A falsely assumed number of cells may affect the function of the
undervoltage protection, which is the reason
that the automatic detection is available for 2, 4 and 6 cell batteries only. If the battery voltage
is below 8.8V, then a 2S battery will be detected, with voltages between 8.8V and 17.6V, a 4S
battery will be assumed, and a 6S battery for voltages exceeding 17.6V.
Resetting the values to the default settings
Put the accelerator/brake lever into the neutral setting and press and hold the set button
(except in programming mode!) for more than 3 seconds. The values are reset when the red and
green LEDs blink simultaneously.
