The alternator and the A/C compressor (when
equipped with THERMATIC and THERMOTRONIC)
are driven by a poly-V belt with six grooves.

Timing belt drive
New here is the use of a timing belt drive instead of
a chain drive. The camshaft, coolant pump and the
high-pressure pump are all driven by a toothed belt.
