Before the First Use
Insert or Replace the Batteries
In order for your compass to work, you have to in-
stall batteries first.
To do so, you have to remove the battery compart-
ment cover on the back of the compass and install
a type LR03 battery (AAA, micro) in the compart-
ment. When installing the battery, make sure that it

is inserted the right way.
Now, close the battery compartment again.
Adjustment of the Time
First, you have to set the time correctly.
To do so, press the button "Set" twice. It is located
on the lower left on the compass.
Now the hour display will blink. When you press the
"Count" button on the top of the compass, you can
set the right hour.
Then, press the "Set" button again. Now, you can
use the "Count" button to set the minutes.
In order to save the time, press the "Set" button and
hold for 2 seconds.
Your compass is now displaying the correct time.
Calibrating the Compass
Your compass must be calibrated (that means cor-
rectly adjusted) in order to display the directions
correctly.
To do so, push the button "Compass" (No. 7).
