• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not leave the appliance within reach of children.
• An electrical appliance is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children.
OTHER SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical
adjustment.
• The use of attachments or tools not recommended or sold by KRUPS may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.
• Unplug from the outlet when not in use, or when left unattended, and before
assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than it's intended purpose.
• Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the supply before changing accessories
or approaching parts that move in use.
• This appliance complies with applicable technical rules and standards at the time of
manufacture.
• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not remove the base. No user
serviceable parts inside. Repairs should be done by an authorised KRUPS Service
Center only.
• Never clean with harsh or abrasive cleaners or sponges.
• Clean using gentle dishwashing liquid and warm water. Dry all parts carefully before
next use.
PRODUCT SPECIFIC SAFETY

WARNING: The burrs are very sharp. Handle with care when using and cleaning.
• Do not overfill the bowl. This could cause damage to the motor.
• The bowl must be on the unit and located correctly for the grinder to work.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your appliance corresponds with your
house electricity supply which must be A.C. (Alternating Current).
If the socket outlets in your home are not suitable for the plug supplied with this
appliance, the plug should be removed and the appropriate one fitted.

WARNING: The plug removed from the mains lead, if severed, must be destroyed, as
a plug with bared flexible cord is hazardous if engaged into a live socket outlet.
