5-7.

Index Command

5-7-1. INDEX SCAN FWD (EXP-1 + 90H)

This moves the current position in the FWD direction to an index and makes a playback for 10 seconds.
Then, it repeats this operation sequence until the last title. After that, the playback is stopped and
COMPLETE is returned.

5-7-2. INDEX SCAN REW (EXP-1 + 91H)

This moves the current position in the REW direction to an index and makes a playback for 10 seconds.
Then, it repeats this operation sequence until the first title. After that, the playback is stopped and
COMPLETE is returned.

5-7-3. INDEX SEARCH FWD (EXP-1 + 92H)

This moves the current position in the FWD direction to an arbitrary index specified by its order, and starts
the playback. When the specified position is reached, COMPLETE is returned. If the specified position
doesn't exist, NOT TARGET is returned. A 3-byte number is specified for the index input.
Ex) Search for the 3rd index counted from the current position.

5-7-4. INDEX SEARCH REW (EXP-1 + 93H)

This moves the current position in the REW direction to an arbitrary index specified by its order, and starts
the playback. This operation is similar to INDEX SEARCH FWD.

5-7-5. INDEX WRITE (EXP-1 + 96H)

This writes an index. This operation is effective only during the playback or recording. If the input index
exceeds the maximum registration number of chapters, no writing is made.

5-7-6. INDEX ERASE (EXP-1 + 97H)

This erases an index. Indexes can only be erased during playback or while playback is paused.
5-8.

Repeat Command

Notes
• Repeat Time is a 2-byte number, while Time and CTL are 7-byte numbers.
• If 0 is specified for Repeat Time, the operation will be repeated until a STOP command is received.
• This operation can be cancelled by a STOP command (i.e. transferred to STOP mode), by cutting the
power supply.
