1. Turn air conditioner off and
remove front grille.
2. Remove the
3 louvers by
bending them

a piece behind it. Unhook this and
lift louvers out.
4. Behind the iauvers are two small
pieces called the link and the cam.
Youneed to remove and adjust these
pieces to change the air pattern.

1. Reconnect the louvers at the top
if they separated when you removed
them.

5. Lift the link and cam off the drive
shaft and remove them.
6. Unsnap the link from the cam and
reposition it on the cam.
The link and cam each have 3
settings.The way they are linked
together determineswhichair flow
pattern you will have. See chart
below.
2. Attach the link to the left louver.
3. Replace the louvers by inserting
them into the top retainers, then
bending them just enough to insert
into bottom holes. Do one louver
at a time, starting from the left.
4. Carefully seat the cam on the
drive shaft, rotating the louvers if
necessary to align the cam with
the shaft.
5. Replace the front grille.
