Steps
1. Connect the micro USB AV adapter to the headset (i.e. AD-55 with Nokia AV headset).
2. Select Radio from the phone user interface Menu, then Media.
3. In a FM Radio broadcast coverage area, set a local radio channel by scanning automatically through the
Automatic tuning option. (Scanning up & down the channels by pressing the UP & DOWN key
respectively).
4. If no channel could be found, inspect all the components in the FM Radio circuitry. If no problem found
visually, check the existence of the LO (by radiated pickup) near the VCO part of the FM Radio IC. If no LO
found, replace the FM Radio IC.
5. Listen for sound out of the Micro USB headset.
If there is a signal present, continue on next slide. If there is no static sound present, inspect all FM Radio
circuits on the PCB and refer to the baseband section on audio troubleshooting.
