Try your Tractor
in
a large, open space
.

stop and reverse.
2. Start
the
engine
and put
the
throttle
control
lever
at about
Y2
throttle.
Push
down
on
foot
pedal,
move
gear
sh ift lever tospeeddesired
.
Release foot pedal
slowly, and
Tractor will
start
to move. After
foot
pedal
is
fully re-
leased
(clutch
engaged),
mo
ve thrott
le con
trol
lever
to
fa
s
t
position. If ground travel is
too
fast,
depres
s foot peda
l
and
shift
to
a
slower
ground travel
speed. Always se
l ect
a ground
travel
speed
that w
ill

ui
t attachment being
used and not
over
load the
eng ine.

e Tractor
is
moving.

To
stop
Tractor, push foot pedal
all
the way
down. Move gear
shift
lever
to neutral,
set
parking
broke
lock.
and release
foot
pedal.
Always check to
make
su re broke lock will
hold Tractor secure. Disengage
power to
attach-
ment.
Shut-off and remove
key from switch.

unauthorized operation. Keep
key
in
a safe pl_ace out of reach of chi
I dren.
Never
leave

unattended.
5. Do not operate the Tractor
in high gear

down hill. Do not turn
sharp
corners

If

is
necessary

declutching
