The intake air system of this engine is optimized by EVGT and a highly efficient intercooler
system. The pressure of the air system is up to about abs. 2.7 bar in order to optimize engine
combustion.

ENGINE ROOM VENTILATION
• Engines with turbo-charger air inlet systems require much more air pumped and cooled.
(Maximum air consumption is 1,400kg/h.)
• The fresh and cooled air must be pumped into the engine in order to perform at normal
power and fuel consumption.
• The temperature at the air inlet should be as low as possible. A high temperature of inlet
air may reduce engine performance.
