¡ As with any plug-in module, there is a chance of
memory loss in the HP-71 when installing a 71 M/M.
Hand Held Products has incorporated several
features within theTI M/M's to minimize this
occurrence, however memory loss may still occur
upon initialinstallation. We recommend back-up of
allfiles before removing or installing any module.
. Be careful not to press any keys on the HP-71 when
installing aTIMlM.
. Make certain the77 M/M is seated firmly in position
before turning on the HP 71.
o Do not force the TIMIM into the port. The TIMIM
willfit snugly but the sockets on the 71 M/M must
be properly aligned with the pins in the HP-71.
